SCHOOL INSPECTION
Our recent school inspection report has now been published and we are delighted to report that the school fell into the ‘very good’ category. The full report is available for perusal on the ETI website at www.etini.gov.uk. This will bring you to the school inspections area where you can type in the name of the school and proceed from there. Should you have difficulty locating this and would prefer a ‘hard copy’ please contact the school.
TRANSFER TEST
Good luck is extended to all our P.7 pupils who will sit the Transfer Exam in our local grammar schools on Saturday morning. We trust that all pupils will make a good account of themselves and irrespective of final outcomes be proud of their efforts to date.
CHRISTMAS SHOEBOX APPEAL
Please note that the final day for submitting Christmas Shoeboxes is tomorrow. Many thanks to all who have donated thus far.
CHRISTMAS PLAYS
Dates have been finalised for this years Christmas Plays. For Health & Safety reasons we will again be forced to split the performances over two showings. Therefore pupils in P.1-P.3 will present their show on Monday, 17th December at 1.30pm while pupils in P.4-P.7 will hold their shows on Tuesday, 18th December at 7.30pm.
GAA DECEASED MEMBERS MASS
The annual GAA Deceased Members Mass will be held in the Club on Friday night. The school has been asked to provide a choir to enhance the service and we therefore ask as many pupils as possible in P4-P7 to attend. Thank you for your co-operation.
CASH 4 CLOBBER
Thanks to all who donated old clothing to the school for the Cash for Clobber fundraiser. Sadly the clothes were not collected on Friday, as arranged but hopefully will be lifted early this week as room at the entrance lobby is now at a premium.
PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION QUIZ
Many thanks to all who attended (or sent in donations) for Friday night’s fundraising quiz. A great night’s entertainment was had, with a sum of £530 having been raised for the Parents’ Association. Given that the Parents’ Association fund Music, Drama, First Communion Refreshments, not to mention subsidize the recent shows in the Strule Arts Centre it is great to see their efforts being supported so wholeheartedly. Thanks again to all!
